A friend and old bandmate of mine, Wil Seabrook, is one of the 15 finalists on the CBS show Rockstar: INXS.
It will be interesting to see how he does. We watched the first episode last night and they didn’t show much of him….but he did make it to the next round. We’ll see more tonight! Go Wil! WOOOO HOOOOO!!! GIT ER DUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw him get the boot last night. I was not impressed with the choice of music. I think it was… Can’t remember? The song may not have been his choice?
He was trying to be too ‘sexy’ for the girls methinks and the music suffered. Again, probably not his choice but coaxed into this by the producers. I think Will is more of a musician who plays music, not sings it. He needs a guitar in his hands and not just be on stage crooning. Hopefully he will get some attention and then make it big from this excellent experience
yeah, if he onnly moved around a bit more and danced some i think it would have saved him. he is an extraordinary talent, and i expect him to go far with his music.
being booted is not a big deal….INXS would have told Dave Matthews, and many other famous musicians, that they wouldn’t be right for INXS.
not a big deal for now. just sit back and wait….i expect his posters to be on my daughter’s bedroom walls in about 10 years…..
